Independent artist Zach Broocke will release his fourth albumWatchDogLookOut on Dualtone Records.

Having been involved in the music business for thirteen years and splitting his time between Nashville and Los Angeles, Broocke has cultivated an outstanding team to complete his current project.

Contributors to WatchDogLookOut include producer/engineer Chad Brown (Ryan Adams, Faith Hill), percussionists Ken Coomer (Wilco, Steve Earle) and Fred Eltringham (The Wallflowers, Rivers Cuomo), upright bassist Frank Swart (Morphine, Norah Jones), keys guruCurt Perkins (Josh Rouse, J.J. Cale), guitarist Doug Lancio (Patty Griffin, Martina McBride), complete with the mastering being done by Andrew Mendelson (Van Morrison, Rolling Stones). With a half-dozen more ancillary players, the team’s total discographies account for well in excess of 40 million records sold.

Color us impressed.

Zach Broocke has just completed an album relying on Ken Coomer’s drums (ex-Wilco), Frank Swart’s bass (Morphine, Norah Jones), Doug Lancio’s six strings (Patty Griffin, John Hiatt) and the services of an additional group of musicians / producers / technicians.

Echoing the title of an old and forgotten vinyl by Elvis Presley, and adding to it the irony and the modesty of Broocke (both of which never hurts), I have the most optimistic expectations concerning the commercial future of this new album: 40,000,000 buyers are not obtained by chance.

The interesting thing here is that, apart from the jokes, anyone who knows Broocke does not have to resort to word games and puns to anticipate for him a future full of success.
